It’s a Balancing Act

I’m quickly learning that adulting is never-ending. Whether it be work, play date, friend gatherings etc. our schedule is always filled up. If you are like me you have FOMO, but also maybe the weight you carry of never wanting to disappoint anyone.

When we live like this, it is first off not healthy…but also it isn’t sustainable.

What I’ve been learning to do is to schedule in rest days. Days where it’s just me and my family doing nothing or maybe just going with the flow. I’ve come to love the slow mornings where we are lazy all day. I used to find worth in all the things I did, and now I know that is such a societal way of living and thinking.

So here I am to ask, what does rest look like for you? When was the last time you truly rested? How do you plan on actively implementing this practice?
